What did you do at very first when you bought Minecraft?

I bought it a year or two ago, because my nieces kept begging me to get the game. I just played single player mode to understand the game and I was absolutely hooked on it since then.

 

Well, I played the game. I'm sure that's the answer for everyone.

 

I created a world and started messing around to find out how this game plays out. I wasn't able to get very far, but I was fortunate enough to find paulsoaresjr on Youtube that helped me get started.

 

I build a really huge pyramid. I remember that it took hours to complete.

 

I went straight to the nearest lake and built a glass observatory. My friend showed me how to mine enough to make a furnace and I immediately started cooking sand assuming it was the only thing you could do.

 

When I first played minecraft, I chopped down some trees, and made a crappy house, and thought it was the greatest thing ever.

 

Well, the first thing I did was try to gather materials and build a temporary shelter so I could hide from all the monsters that came out at night until I was more used to the game itself. I then started digging down in my house to get ore and such.

 

When I first did, I started a single player world. All I did was walk around and started punching dirt. Took me some time to learn the basics.

 

Play the game of course! But once I got in, I started with those underground homes and then expanded on from there.

 

I started playing Minecraft in late Alpha, so the first thing I ever did was make a basic house and try to survive. There really wasn't that much to do when I started to play. I have been following Minecraft throughout it's development, and It's been a wild ride. It's interesting to see some of the things you guys did when you first started to play compared to the fact that when I started they didn't exist in game yet. Haha. Either way there have been some massive changes over the life of Minecraft.
