What do YOU do when you get bored in Minecraft?

I usually get bored in Minecraft after a while on creative mode. I also get bored on Minecraft when I am playing alone in survival mode. I prefer to play with friends than play alone.

 

If I was playing vanilla Minecraft at the time I usually like to download and play a modpack like Feed The Beast.

 

I usually stop playing minecraft to be honest. Sometimes I'd do something else or otherwise go look up some structures to make in minecraft.

 

When there is nothing to do I just build random vertical structures with dirt blocks and then later give them a shape. It's epic to look at these tall structures in your Survival world when walking through the town that you have made.

 

Go find a random server and join it. There's something about having other people there and (preferably) talking that makes me enjoy the experience more. Also, exploring places on a server and seeing other people and messing with whatever plug-ins they have can be cool.

 

Lol when I get bored in minecraft I usually install some mods to play around with. With mods minecraft can never really be boring. It's impossible! I also search up minecraft videos on YouTube to watch as well.

 

Besides playing something else, I'll go to my test redstone map and mess around. Redstone is a hell of a lot fun for me and I'm constantly learning more about it. Most of my map is glorious spreadshot tnt cannons and doors.

 

What you do is very simple, you find a village and then you nuke it. But first you must torture the villagers a bit. I usually set up several cannons and then connect them all to one button and then let the fun commence!

 

When I'm bored I usually let all my things in my house and I go against the world with a sword, also go to do strange things or execute my random ideas.

 

I usually just stop playing it and do something else. But i rarely get bored playing minecraft these days, I normally give myself an hour to play the game and then stop and go back to real world. I don't have much free time lately, so everytime i'm on the game, i make sure i'm onto something productive and most importantly i'm enjoying the game!

 

I had the same problem as OP before, then I discovered MineZ and started playing it a lot. I recommend trying MineZ, you'll probably get sick of it eventually but you might not find it boring perhaps.

 

Once I get bored from building, I usually aim for some red stone contraptions. The reason why red stone is such a great addition to Minecraft is because it's sort of the math behind the game. It feels like it's the math and physics where you have to use the proper amount of ticks from the repeaters and torches in order to achieve your goal. The things that I really like to build with red stone when I'm bored are red stone powered doors. It's really cool to click a button and have a door open in front of you. After all that hard work building the contraption, it's nice to see it actually work!

 

I normally just go the the creative mode and start building things. it keeps me engaged for a while, and whenever and if I ever get bored of that, I kind just stop playing.

 

Well, i don't play minecraft as much as i used to so whenever i'm on it i try to enjoy the game as much as possible and try to catch up on doing things, so i don't exactly have time to get bored of the game. But generally speaking, when i get bored of something i normally would find a way to distract myself or sometimes i just stop what I'm doing altogether and move on to something else. I think that's how most of us deal with boredom.

 

I like to start going to KitPVP servers and OP servers just for fun. I don't play on them often because OP is just ruining to fun for me and KitPVP is a game of score. I like the survival aspect so I stick to servers that aren't too heavy on starting you off super strong. I like KitPVP because it is good practice for survival PVP. If someone trys to raid my base, I just bust out my PVP skills and get their stuff. It is the same deal for OP servers, though I lose anyway since people have armor that's Everything Level 9001.

 

I DESTROY. Yes, I go online and get on a server with an open world and just go into destructive mode. I will put lava on your roof, flood your mine, and steal your livestock. Yes, I am that guy when I'm in one of my moods. I wreck everything with no control until I am stopped. On the other hand sometimes I feel nice and just help out. Depends on my mood.

I hate people like you. What would you do after I destroyed your huge fortress that you have spent hours and hours building?

 

Hunt you down or just rebuild. I've made quite a few people who have retaliated eventually just leave the room I'm in. Again YES, I am that guy. AGAIN, sometimes I help people too or protect people's stuff from getting looted. Depends on the skin I'm using.

 

When I get bored, I try building something. Like something, huge. Test out my knowledge of the minecraft world and physics of building, like adding a roller coaster inside a building. Or, dig a bunch. No real reason behind it! Just dig and dig and see where I end up, a lot of times it's in the ocean.
