What do YOU do when you get bored in Minecraft?

That's another good one, playing with some friends. I think if you're really burnt out on Minecraft though, even playing with friends will get stale after you develop a world at least a little bit with them.

 

Play another game or gonna find some new mod that interests me. And build things with the mod like industrialcraft or something.

 

I give up and go do something else in another game. haha I don't have the patience to stick around to find something to do in a given gaming session.

 

I build constantly in the game, so when I get tired of that, I dig. If you are set up for the right digging map it goes 225 blocks deep. I use massive amounts of T-N-T, and blow huge holes underground. I then apply torches in the nooks and crannies, and then go to the bedrock and look up. It's really neat. Almost like going to the Carlsbad Caverns. You should try it I you are bored.

 

If I get bored on Minecraft, I will multitask. I will start mining in a straight line for diamonds while watching a video or listening to a podcast since I have 2 monitors. Other times, I will watch a stream, or join a PvP server since PvP never gets boring. It's also fun to practice redstone, but because I am terrible at it, I don't use it anymore. Minecraft is an open-world game and there's tons of things to do, but when it gets boring, do something else and then go back to it later.

 

When I get bored in minecraft, I usually do a couple of things before downloading a new map to play on. I'll play survival for a bit, just surviving from the night and the mobs. Then I'll find all the diamonds and whatnot and make all the things that I want to make. Making a decent house takes a good while so that should occupy you at least for a couple of hours. Then when you get bored, you'll eventually want to just destroy and decimate everything you've made. After that, I just download a new map, survive that, complete whatever story/quest the map wants me to and just destroy everything again.

 

I usually like to go on multi-player servers and just have fun with other players.

 

When I am bored, I download a bunch of Mod packs and play with my friends. I love the Mo' Creatures mod and Biomes O' Plenty. They add realistic additions to Minecraft, which greatly enhance gameplay.

Also, I would go on PvP minigame servers and play a game of Capture the Wool or Team Death Match. PvP is unpredictable, and anything can happen, which makes me look forward to what is in store in PvP.

 

When i get bored in Minecraft what i usually do is a lot of things lol. I usually just go out and explore and try to find new places to build houses or mine entrances. Also sometimes i'll just listen to music and just start looking for a lot of resources for future builds etc.

 

I just do something else. Minecraft is not my life and I don't play it all that often. I like cooking, I exercise every other day and have a few other interests besides playing video games.

 

I like this answer. If your response is to just go play another game or stick with Minecraft when it's boring you, then you're wasting your time and don't have your priorities straight.

And just if you are bored on playing alone search for other guys on servers and ask them if they have skype or teamspeak so you and him have a good day together

 

I used to play it everyday, but one day I got bored, I deleted the game. It is probably the best solution when you get bored of a game... HAHA Try to search for some Youtube videos about Minecraft, maybe some of them can reignite your love of the game!!

 

When I get bored in Minecraft, I download new/interesting mod packs and try them out. I have to admit that vanilla Minecraft can get pretty boring at times, so to spice things up a bit, I like exploring different modpacks and playing on those servers.

 

Have you ever played on Hypixels server? He has many mini games and different games to play with other people online! And you can always download an adventure map to play too. There are some pretty awesome ones.

 

I will usually go to a generator online that will give me an idea to build. If I do not like what I find there I will find an adventure map that I have not played yet. Some good choices are the neverwinter and Super Hostile series.

 

I save my world and make a copy of the file, I then use a program or mod that allows me to get any item I desire, and create cannons to shoot up my world. Or fill up my castle with TNT, and blow it up.

 

I build some nice looking houses.. then I blow them up. Or use only wood for the building of the house and then pour lava on top. Fun.

 

I stop playing and play another game. I mean theres no point in continuing to play the game if I have grown bored with it. As soon as the game becomes a chore I try to find something else to play so that I don't burn out.
