What do you guys do in the Nether?

    I usually use the fact that for every several blocks you move, it's double that in the actual game world and I make a subway system.

    What I do in the nether? Mostly explore. When I get the hang of my surroundings, I start collecting things! Soulsand, netherbrick and fences, netherwart! I kill blazes and magma cubes to get potion ingredients. I also usually make a wither skeleton farm, so I can get a beacon going as soon as possible! There is a lot to of things you van do in the nether!

    Usually when I am in the nether I look for strongholds. It is the easiest way to find diamond and horse armor. I also build my enchantment table room at the entrance of my portal.

    It give me a thrill to explore but I mainly go there to get lava. I think the place is kind of scary.

    I mainly go to gain glowstone as it's a very good light source. I also kill ghasts for their tears for potions, similarly I collect nether warts along side tears. I also go to get some netherack as it never goes out when on fire!

    I like to roam and collect things but usually I die before I can ever get them back home. That or I just get lost. If I can keep myself organized then I don't mind just going there to collect materials. When I wanted to build the power beam I needed a lot of materials from there. It took me a week to get everything and that was playing every day.

    I like going there because the atmosphere is pretty awesome/surreal/creepy, especially in a game like Minecraft. The world of MC seems generally innocent, all you're trying to do is survive and build. But when you enter the Nether or the End, it's kinda desolate and almost reminds you of Hell in a way.

    The Nether is great for survival challenges and even PVP in some cases. I'll go there every once in awhile for these purposes.

    I usually only go to the nether for its blocks, which can host unlimited fire for my fireplace back up top, and for glowstone, which I use for lighting most of my houses. Other than that I do not do much, as those flying fireball shooters kill me pretty quickly.

    I build castles and try to find the original nether castles while blowing up zombie pigmen and trapping spawners.

    Roam around, farm glowstones. If I'm feeling lucky try to find the castle.
