Randomness. Maps are randomly generated, just as everything else. Every new game is different.

Maps are random but they all contain the same stuff like minerals and village layouts. It only becomes different once you start building

The absolute scale of the game. Limitless things to do and it seems that it actually never ends.

I love it because it's simple. The visuals are simple the concept is simple and the game play itself is simple. Goes to show that games, no matter how simple they may be, can still be a lot of fun and full of entertaining moments.

The peacefulness of Minecraft is something which I really enjoy as well. The game has loads of cool stuff like fighting and exploring but it keeps you relaxed and doesn’t make you stressed like other games

I love Minecraft because anything you want to do you can do if you put your imagination to it. It should be labeled under "Therapeutic" games because everything time I play it the music just calms me down and relaxes me after a long day of work.

I myself really don't play survival all that often. It's really just not my jam, I love playing on creative and seeing what I can come up with in the restraints of the game. From mansions to giant towers to all kinds of different buildings.

I like the freedom and variety in the world of Minecraft, and how you can do whatever suits your taste. Be it customizing your game with tons of mods to make it unique and personal, or simply playing vanilla, to engaging in exciting combat and minigames in multiplayer server or to building complex redstone structures to show your freinds, there just so much possibilities in this game that it caters to the different preferences of every player. You can just do so many things with it, unlike most hardcore games our there which maily focus on one type of gameplay.

Being able to make anything you can imagine and take any invention to a different level is filled with excitement and adventure. As long as you have some imagination, you can do anything. I have wondered what on earth is so addicting about that game, and all I have ever come up with is that it can entertain most people depending on how wide their thoughts can travel. Being able to make new inventions and be helpful for other players has always been a personal favorite- always having an extra sword on hand, etc. It is a game able to give you whatever fun entertainment you can imagine.

I love the peace and mind of getting to build something, and seeing that things are possible. I guess because I look at mainly everything I do on a life experience scale then minecraft just lets me know you can do anything, and that's really the main reason I love it and the creative mode as well!

What's not to love? Personally, I love exploring dungeons and finding mob spawners. I live finding diamond and other resources. I always joke around with my friends and say that I found coal ore or redstone ore.

You can do absolutely anything on this game. There's already a lot to do on regular vanilla Minecraft, but if you get bored of that there's tons of mods to try out and lots of different types of multiplayer servers. The possibilities are endless.

The best thing that I like about Minecraft is that you can build several things and also express yourself with your own skins. I love the creative mode where I can show off my skills. Unlike other games, I never get sick of playing it!

My favorite part about Minecraft is building. I love building houses and towns where I can start servers and invite my friends.

I love how you are able to explore the limitless plains, explore dungeons, and invent new things. Exploring is what makes Minecraft an addicting game. With the unlimited world generation, customisable world generation and seeds, you will always see different and unique worlds, this means you will never see the same world twice. Redstone is also a major part of Minecraft, with redstone you are able to create almost anything you can think of, whether it'd be a mini-game, to a flying spaceship. Also, the ability to have no limits is a great aspect to Minecraft.

I love minecraft's pvp system. If you die you drop everything, making me a huge fan of anarchy servers where I can betray and give out base coordinates to people. I used to sell base coordinates on a server for 1$ IRL. Made quite a bit of money.

It's a rather simple game, it's not too complex, and you're given a ridiculous amount of freedom, sure there are a few downsides like the somewhat bad graphics, but they're what makes Minecraft what it is.
You shouldn't try to force Minecraft on to your friend, though. She might get annoyed by you constantly trying to convince her to play the game.

I love that you can basically build anything you want, and have it working. It really is a unique gaming experience. Even in other sandbox games like Rust, you can't get the same feeling. I also like that you can make a bunch of logic gates and stuff with Redstone. I'm a real geek over that kind of stuff.

I loved the thought of creating something technical and awesome with redstone but alas I cannot create anything because I am always so confused. It's really cool what other.. smarter people can create with it though.

Call me silly but I love the blockiness of Minecraft. I think that it's really sweet. I also like the 16x16 textures because they just fit. Aren't the graphics what characterized Minecraft?
