You shouldn't fully trust anything that comes out of Ukraine at this point, as both Kiev and Moscow are lying through their teeth and the worldwide journalistic race for being the first to publish only results in more misinformation and contradictory news.

What i want to see is on what basis the West will uphold the sanctions against Russia after it will turn out that the plane was shot down by the Ukrainians.

Alternatively, they could admit :" Ooops, we fucked up!" and resolve themselves to never ever listen to the Uncle Sam. At which point Putin will have secured the next 10 elections in Russia.

Another funny thing is the reasoning behind the sanctions :"Russia gave a BUK missile system to the rebels, who later used it to down a civilian plane. Therefore, Russia is responsible and should be sanctioned." Lolwut? Since when is anybody responsible of how the guns they sell are used?

If there were such a thing in international law, i'm pretty sure all the members of cabinet and MPs of the US since the late 30s should have been locked up for life.
