What is the scariest mob in your opinion?

I loathe cave spiders and little zombies. I can't stand them. The mere thought drives me crazy. They can squeeze through 1x1 holes and they are quick! The spiders can even poison you, bringing even more trouble to an already hard fight.

 

The scariest mob is the enderman by far for me. Having a mob which you have to hit with melee, and can teleport, and just overall looks completely freaky makes the enderman the most scary mob in the entire game. They are so annoying, but they are the scariest.

 

Spiders are the scariest because they move so fast and will more than likely always get atleast one jab on you. They are also mean little boogers and blend in the with the night. They're no bueno.

 

Well, if you're new to the game, have your sounds set to OFF or just low in general, and have no idea what NPCs there are in the game, a creeper will surely ruin your day. Sometimes you'll never expect a creeper running up to you, and the fact that it explodes and leaves a big blast radius is indeed quite terrifying.

 

Silverfish are kind of evil too, but I haven't found too many.

 

I know! I hate it when I'm half concentrated on mining, then suddenly a silver fish jumps out and starts attacking me! Wakes me up!

 

They're so hard to hit too! Evil buggers.

 

Endermen and spiders for me. Endermen are only creepy to me because of how powerful they are and the fact that they can teleport. Spiders are just creepy in general and jump at you all the time. I don't like either one. The zombies and creepers I can deal with fairly easily. Skeletons can get annoying at times, but overall they don't bother me.

 

I find Creepers to be the scariest. They can pop out when you're crafting and explode; and I usually play with sound on max. They piss me off when they blow up my house and I have to rebuild it..

 

Enderman. You turn around and they're inches away from your face. Plus they're rude and pick up blocks. They teleport. That is some scary stuff.

 

I agree with the majority of people -- spiders are the worst. Nothing ingame is really scary, with the exception of spiders. They're not real hard to kill, I just have a huge phobia for spiders... real or virtual, makes no difference. Hate them so much.

 

Creeper hands down... it can ruin hours of work.. they make me very sad..

 

The scariest to me would be the Enderman, it's just creepy and I hate how it disappears. The skeletons are just annoying really because I hear them and next thing I know I'm being shot to death and have no idea where from. The ones that really freak me out though are obviously creepers, I've had several occasions where they would sneak up on me in the dark in a mine shaft or somewhere else without torches and they just explode, can't even begin to explain how startled I was. Minecraft jumpscares are real.

 

Creepers aren't really that scary once you get used to them. They're more unnerving than frightening. You can always tell when there's a creeper nearby because if you listen carefully you can hear their footsteps. Once you know that they're around just keep an eye out and you should spot them pretty easily. With a bow and arrow you can take them down without ever entering their danger zone. Skeletons are another story.

 

Ghasts are the scariest mobs. No questions asked. Seeing them flying around is just terrifcying to me, not sure why. I don't really mind endermen at all because they just kind of sit there and watch. Spiders aren't really spooky, but they can get a good jump scare out of me.

 

I have to say I think spiders and creepers are about equal in my book, especially how they surprise me. Freaky.

 

Definitely spiders in my opinion because they are so tiny and you can't smash them all at once. They also look scary in the dark and when they jump out of nowhere it gets even worse. Also that sound they can make is scary as hell.

 

Endermen definitely. I hate how they can just teleport around and pop in your face. Once it disappears, I feel like I'm always in danger.

 

Cave spiders! One second you're all running around, exploring and finding iron and lapis and redstone and just having a good time and then OH NO LOOK BEHIND YOU. CAVE SPIDERS EVERYWHERE. Oh, you're poisoned. You die, goodbye diamond armour. I mean, you could go collect it again... if you feel like facing the cave spiders again.

 

I'm going to say Enderman like a few other people. Just imagine if you're low on health and you're trying to get to a safehouse or something, and then you hear their creepy noise and see one teleport right in front of you. That's got to be pretty scary, and sometimes there's nothing you can do to avoid death.
