    I completely agree Jesse, just knowing that you can start from nothing to this big something that came out of imagination is just great!. what cool things have you and you're friends built up?

    My favorite aspect of Minecraft is that there are so many endless possibilities you can do. The world is huge and you can build anything you want. Any adventurous person would love the aspect of Minecraft.

    The minimalistic atmosphere of the game. The music consisting out of slow piano music which is so beautifully composed, even though it's not much. Also, the creativity is very satisfying. You want to make something ridiculous? Sure thing!

    I really like that Minecraft has generated worlds, there is no limit to where you can explore and it has a great variety of biomes to explore. Also, it's fun to look at other people's creations, it's amazing what people can do when they have free time.

    This might sound strange but I need to let it out. I absolutely love the blocky textures in minecraft. In my honest opinion, it's one of the things that makes me feel like the game is really meant for me.

    Sounds kind of stupid, but my favorite aspect of the game is the fact you can grow so many things and then turn them into different types of food. So I guess I like the farmer aspect of minecraft.

    The Creativity, I always play on creative and not survival because it's all about the creation of a new and interesting building.

    Mine would have to be Survival Mode and everything about it. I think it's awesome how you actually have to build and kill things in order to survive. It's a very cool part of Minecraft and it adds a challenge to a game that's based a lot on creativity. That way, you use your creativity to help improve your survival tactics.

    I love being able to build your own creations and mine your own supplies. The way each block interacts with others (such as redstone) is very interesting and one of the coolest things added to minecraft. I like being able to survive by killing monsters, making weapons, eating food, and sleeping. Also being able to explore and find rare items, it just really gets my attention and definitely cures my boredom.

    Exploring. It's the best thing;finding all these little nooks and crannies, coming across naturally made caves and wonders. On multiplayer games, it's even better as you're constantly coming across things that other players have made, and if you're really lucky, you'll come across hidden treasures that other players have built for those who like exploring.

    Personally, my favourite aspect of Minecraft has got to be exploring. There are a total of 8 million blocks you can explore, or maybe even more! Endless amounts of cave systems, mountains and deserts to be explored. The soundtrack really adds to Mincraft too.

    Yeah, me too! I actually used to play Farmville haha and it probably came from that. I think that one of the reasons I like Minecraft so much is because of its similarity to Farmville :D

    I'm much in the same boat as the OP. My creativity is lacking, but I enjoy playing games created by other people. Someday I'd like to try Minecraft out, but it never really caught my attention. I enjoy playing modded games and my guess is that much of the /content/updates in Minecraft are user generated.

    Hard to pick just one favorite thing about Minecraft. I just really enjoy the game overall. There's so much that you can do. The main focus is building of course because it is a sandbox game. But overall, I can't pick just one thing to say as my favorite. Everything about the game is so great!

    Huh, I never thought of it like that, but yeah I guess it does have a lot of crossover with Farmville style games. I wonder if Notch has considered marketing it towards the people that play Farmville?

    Just like most people have pointed out, the best thing about Minecraft is the endless possibilities of what we can do and discover in the game. The fate of our characters is definitely ours for the taking. The game is what we made it to be. Also, i really enjoy the simplicity of the graphics and design of the game. This game is truly one of a kind and i just like it a lot!:p

    The fact that the world is practically never ending. It's 8x larger than the surface of earth. Randomly generating worlds that are endlessly explorable. Laid back game with a lot to do such as building large structures
