What is your favorite building material?

In a regular game, cobblestone and wood. However, my all time favorite block to build with is an iron block. They look so modern and make a cool sound when you place them.

 

I like to use the gold blocks because I use it to build pyramids most of the time. Sometimes I use bricks and make a three little piggy type of house using torch on the roof to make it glow in the night time.

 

The stone bricks are pretty nice, although I think the wood textures are great especially with a high quality texture pack. It gives me a soothing peaceful feeling looking at a wooden cottage on a cliff with a balcony. Meanwhile below it is a beach while two other mountain ridges surround the beach, making the ocean only visible from one direction which is from the balcony. That probably doesn't make sense but I wrote that visual off my mind haha.

 

Definitely Obsidian, it has everything I need in a building material, first off I love the color and it's near-indestructible which is always a nice bonus, I have friends over a lot in my world and they like to tear chunks out of my houses and buildings just because they're jerks like that and having built most of it with Obsidian, it makes it a lot more difficult for them to take a piece of anything important.

 

Emerald blocks. Which sucks because it is SO hard to find. Plus you need an extreme amount to get anything accomplished. It still didn't stop me from trying to build a full size castle with it. It took me days and then an enderfuck came and messed it all up.

 

Wood and cobblestone mixed in all possible ways. It makes my building quite strong and they look nice. I also like emeralds to build some cool stuff and probably because i like green colour.

 

Stone brick.. I love to make castles out of it.. It's pretty cool looking. Next on the list is Dark Oak Wood.. Prettiest wood, in my opinion.

 

Mine would probably just be the various woods or the marble.

 

I prefer wool, because you can have it in so many different colors and still farm it rather easily. Other than that I really like obsidian, mostly because it's very robust and has sort of mystic factor to it.

 

I love wood and emerald. Especially wood because brown is one of my favorite colors.

 

I like to use wood for my houses because it looks son comfortable and it has nice feeling to it. I like Birch oak because it's a light color and it looks good in my eyes.

 

I mostly use cobblestone, but it's not like I have a favorite building block. I use whatever suits my needs at the time, and that changes depending upon the project that I'm working on.
