My favorite is definitely the Afli Warlock. It's so versatile, and I love to PvP with it.
My 2nd favorite is the Enhancement Shaman.

Blood Death Knights are the bst imo.
You can solo every elite, some instances and never die in arenas/bg.
I used to play it in arenas and my partner would die. Most of the times I would survive long enough for the arena to end or the other team to give up.

Pretty much any healer. Have a 90 Priest, Monk, and Rshaman. Right now, working on leveling a Holy paladin. Although, I've been enjoying Pally tanking greatly. Can pretty much solo anything and instances are extremely quick. Just never really got into being a dps for pvp

In all games, I love just melee bruiser type champs that can just run in your face and make your life a living hell. So, the most fun class in WoW is definitely Warrior (and Death Knights are a close second). I LOVE Fury spec the most, that's just my preference.

At the moment I raid with a mage. Since mages are kinda bad at the moment I have to adapt and change specs according to fights though I prefer fire/frost. Arcane is kinda boring.
I really think Blizzard should add some type of spell that supports the raid because at the moment mages and hunters are a bit useless in that aspect, but at least hunters aren't phased by silence for example or a lot of movement unlike mages.
I'd really love to add healing effect on my spells when I use Ice Veins, Combustion and Arcane Power. Shamans, druids and shadow priests have it so I don't see a reason why mages shouldn't have a similar spell.

Only issue with that is it would become incredibly powerful for PVP, if you gave Mages a healing effect on some of their CD's. Of course, Blizz would probably implement it anyway!

Yeah to be honest it has been on my mind. Mages are really strong at the moment in arenas and if they heal for % of the dmg they do it will be just too much, but there has to be a way around it. Otherwise I'm literally feeling embarrased to play with my guild. Everyone is using some benefical skill for the raid and my instructions are often... nuke :p
Just so I can redeem myself a little I always try to take the odd jobs like staying in Canon on Galakras, handle all the CC on the General or at least the shaman and the weaver the marksment I leave for others to deal with lol :p, on Malkorok I take 3 some times 4 slices because with my Blink it's a lot easier to move around the damn bubbles, however on Thok HC which is one of the most demanding bosses the only thing I do is just nuke the boss lol :p

I've always had at hing for paladins. Ever since Warcraft 3, the idea of a heavily armored holy warrior carrying a big-ass hammer has always seemed to be ultimate badassery. I guess retribution is the spec since I enjoy soloing content.

It's pretty funny how often Blizzard buffs/nerfs classes. I remember in Cata when Mages were stupidly overpowered.

They are still quite decent in PvE and in arenas they are monsters, however Blizzard has made recent fights in a way where everyone needs to participate in helping the group, not just the healers. Now in the rotation for sustaing you can see moonkin/ele shammies/spriest CD as well as skills like Smoke Bomb from rogues or anti magic zone from DK's for example... heck even tank monks for example heal the raid while fighting lol :D

I love playing arms warrior, it's awesome for pvp! I played it for one year! That's right one straight year without playing other class or even spec. Still awesome. :D

Interesting. I mainly stuck to PvP and it got frustrating seeing my classes buffed and nerfed on a whim. My theory is that Blizzard doesn't really attempt balance, they just buffed and nerfed classes on a cycle, so everyone can get the experience of being OP. I played Warrior, Priest and Mage, and all of them went through constant cycles of being OP and being trash.

Btw now that you mentioned it it does feel like they are going in a cycle. At one point they are strong then they are weak then they are strong again. It seems that it's either extremely difficult to balance it or Blizzard are just being lazy and as you said they are cycling them around, so people who play different classes don't complain that they are always the weakest.
If I have to guess it's the second because Blizzard have almost all their employees work on Warlords of Draenor since Mists of Pandaria came out. They themself have said that. Even now they said that there aren't going to be any other raid dungeons after Siege of Orgrimmar because that would only delay the expansion since they will need to get people who are working on WoD to start working on MoP...

Prot Warrior all the way. Always has been and always will be. Most badass looking armor in the game! Also very fun!

I am one of those people whp always stick with the same class through every expansion, and I don't understand people who switch classes from patch to patch, just because they happen to be particularly stronger, so that the can gain an advantage.
So for me it's Mages all the way, and I've been a mage when they were at their weakest and strongest. Now for the talent spec, that depends a little more, although it's been generally fire, and frost in periods such as WoTLK when fire truly wasn't worth a damn in PvP.

Sort of agree, but it's also not any fun to play a class that is just clearly not as good as another. I won't ever stop playing a class, but I'll certainly put it to the side if it's extremely weak for that patch. People who stick with a terrible class, no matter what, have a much stronger resolve for the game than I. Just far too frustrating for me

Been playing Paladin since Vanilla. Dual spec holy/protection. Yeah, you need 2 different gear sets to lug around but being able to play whatever role your group needs is a good feeling.

In the beginning, I played a Marksman Hunter and really loved it. Up until roughly 2008, I rolled a Restoration Shaman until level 80, then switched over to Elemental Shaman. Since then, I have to say I really love playing an Elemental Shaman.

My biggest character is a Dwarf Holy Priest. I always play a magical character and really loved the spells a Holy Priest had. I also like being able to help during battles but not being on the frontline.

Restoration Druid has always been my favorite class/spec since TBC. Providing a support role is a surefire way to make a few friends and quicken dungeon queues. Solo questing can be a snore without anyone to increase the damage output, but survival is easy to maintain.

Keeping everyone in the group alive and at full health feels more rewarding than treating every battle like a competition for the highest damage. Resto healing is the easiest for me and certainly the most enjoyable.
