    It's the mountains for me. I'm kind of a monkey when it comes to Minecraft and I almost always build my base either on top of a mountain or a very high tree. It's a pain in the ass getting down and going back up again though.

    I actually like the flatland when it comes to building great bases but for most of my game time I prefer the mountains.

    I love maps with massive cave systems that you can get lost in! I love finding diamonds on the first day (which I have.) as it makes the game much for fun for me!

    Ocean or Mountain Map. I would love if sea biomes were better and there were sharks and such. I also love the ravines thats why I love the mountain map too.

    My favourite area to build a house is probably in a plains biome next to a forest biome. Nice enough area to be in :) The plains biomes usually have cave entrances in them, and it's always nice to have a forest near you.

    I don't really mind that much but I usually prefer mountain maps usually because there is more to explore. It is harder to build things on mountain maps, but in multiplayer, the rough terrain can really make for some interesting gameplay, especially in Hunger Games and PvP servers. Otherwise, I don't really mind, but I sally dislike flat lands as they are so bland.
