    Define "fittest".

Also, just because the Danish State does bad it doesn't mean that the concept of State is inefficient.

adapted, adjusted, qualified, or suited to some purpose, function, situation.
Meaning that companies that don't adapt, adjust or qualify to some purpose, function or situation will not make it and will go bankrup, making room for a more fit company to live.

It's flawed. Let's say there is an economical crysis. If the Train company goes bankrupt, there might not be anybody to take its place ---> Hence thousands of people would remain without a means of transport.

If there's thousands of people using it, it can't go bankrupt. Especially if they're paying about 2 Euro 50 cent for every few kilometers.

A thousand people in need of transport is a pretty good recipe for a new company.

Oh believe me, it can. Have a holiday in Italy, where millions of public subsides disappear without leaving trace.

It doesn't mean they have the capital to invest. Some could choose alternative means of transport, if they can. But the ones that cannot would still eb damaged by the bankrupt.

I agree completely, and it pisses me off so much when I see people I would gladly have a beer with using the word "anarchy" as a synonym for "chaos". It insults people's intelligence so much and most of them don't even know it.
Yeah, this is something that I really like to discuss with my brother often (he has very similar political views to us and I have learned a lot from him, but we do not always agree). The Marxist/Leninist focus on and strong belief in "the vanguard" is something that would pretty much always, in my opinion, lead to a police state like the USSR and its numerous puppet government republics.
And this is one of the main issues with capitalism: it all runs on profit. Living on a system like that will eventually drag us all to ruin unless more people start doing something about it.
This is indeed an interesting fact. Also, it's kinda funny how the views of many Marxists are sometimes almost fundamentally different to Karl Marx's opinions.

Millions of people in Africa are in need of transport, food, water and education. Those companies don't materialise. Why? Because it is not profitable. Just because something has high demand doesn't mean a company will jump in to "help" them. They require low supply. Transport? Every global multinational co-operation owns a company. Gold/Diamonds? Very fuel sources, very high demand, instant money. That's why gold mines are being set up in Africa, not farms nor transport systems.

I was considering this route once. I heard high-risk operators could get paid 150.000 usd a year. That means I'll have funds for my university time afterwards :)

Nah man I was just speaking after watching a few documentaries about PMC in Iraq. It was pretty dangerous, actually.
But as a dane I think the security contracts would be in the shipping industry, maybe in the Gulf of Aden. Aegis are in fact currently hiring specifically Danish or Swedish operators with military experience.

I don't think you'd even be able to get a job as a pmc without some military experience, and there is a kinda big chance you have to do something that might not fit in on your moral compass, so before thinking of going all PMC one have to ask oneself, is the money worth it?

I know, I'm planning on joining the military (Army) after high school and seeing at least one deployment somewhere, then maybe take sergeant education, then spend some time PMC, maybe only one year, before taking to the university.
And I know there is the whole moral dilemma, but if I stick to stuff like shipping security I think I'll be good :)

How has this turned into a "WE WANT YOU" thread from a political debate?
Darkbringer, please reply to the very valid points that have been made against your statement that company materialise where there is need.
