What is your political opinion?

That post was so bad it made my brain hurt. At first I was a bit surprised with the way he or she defined some things, then I was agreeing and then it just got worse and worse.

Also, this post seems to completely miss out economical basics and focus on social aspects of society as if economics didn't exist. In other words: it's completely abstract and unrealistic. That and a lot of the descriptions it comes up with make very little or no sense at all.

Anyway, a lot of what I just said is simply my opinion - and you're more than welcome to keep yours - but a lot of the things stated in that person's post are wrong simply by dictionary definition. They contradict each other.

 

Anarchism is much more than that. There are many different currents within anarchism, but what they all have in common is opposition to the state and the government. Therefore that's how people usually define anarchism, which naturally leads to a lot of confusion to everyone else.

A common misconception about anarchism is that anarchism is simply about overthrowing the government and that's it... no plans for the future, no solutions - chaos. If anarchism was like that, I would call it the dumbest philosophy ever. But, as you can see, I am an anarchist and I believe it can work so it's not like that at all.

 

If a woman only makes 80 cents every time a man makes a dollar, then companies would only hire women. That's capitalism.

 

I have to admit that I didn't listen to the whole video, but I stopped watching it after around 13 minutes when I realized that this guy was pretty much as bad as any other sexist - male or female... okay, he was a bit better than most. I agree that he did point out SOME valid points, but most were pretty shite in my opinion. I am certainly not familiar with the incident that he talks about in the vid, but it seems to me like the person (and her followers) that he met were just female sexists and probably even worse than him judging from what he claims to have experienced. Nevertheless, I remain neutral on the matter between the two groups because I haven't heard about this argument before and I have not seen the full versions of the story from either side.

However, please remember to differentiate between: people being sexist towards males and feminists. A person - man or woman, boy or girl - who claims to be a feminist, yet is sexist towards either of the genders, is a hypocrite. The main goal of feminism is to achieve equal rights for women. If someone tries to give women superior rights to men, then in my eyes they simply aren't a feminist.

Anyway so you think women should be drafted, men should be have forced maternity and women should change the oil on the car? I think we need to respect natural traits that either gender is born with, but I of course support equal pay for equal work, civil and political rights, and all that. I just think laws like the one one in Norway (Directors' Boards in companies must consist of 40% women) do the exact opposite. Besides, women are being paid more to undertake a medical education than men.

 

i agree that qualifications should rule over who gets the job, nothing else. But ypu cannot honestly believe a women is much better midvwife than a man jsut beasue SHE IS A WOMAN? Most young women that studies to become midwives haven't had a baby themselves probably, therefore I do not see how much better "suited" for the role they are. Isn't that more of a personality/education matter? Didn't you learn how birth woks in biology class?

 

Long story short Communism wins. It helps every member of the community while capitalism just helps the top few that know how to rape the lower majority. Think about it. You live comfortably yet there are people who wipe their ass with the money you make in a lifetime. What makes them better than you? A ton of rich people are fuckers who don't deserve a dime that they have while there are poorer people who are pure of heart and yet they're eating dirt. Communism helps the majority while capitalism helps the few. I will admit that there hasn't been a successful communist country due to human greed. Next time you see a homeless person on the street begging for money remember what kind of government system you have.

That's just a phrase, saying it does not corroborate it. Plenty of rich people are generous, take Bill Gates, or Oprah, for example. both are very rich philanthropists. Bill gates gave up being the richest person, through philanthropy.

First off, I didn't bring countries into it, I brought humans into it. I'm not defending my country, which (to be honest) I don't like very much. But, what you said was not a universal truth, which is how you stated it.

Tell me rolfhore (hehe) if you had found a way to make some money and it was good money right, then someone who has never worked asks for your money would you give it to them
