What MMO has/had the best community?

The WoW community is one of the reasons I stopped playing for a time. While I was never targeted specifically by the annoying players, the constant chatter and rude behavior in the world became too much to bother with.
I found LOTRO to be refreshingly mature in comparison. On my server, at least, I found a group of people who were former WoW players but who were also tired of the banter.
Part of the difference is the level of PvP in each game. Without the Horde vs. Alliance discussion over which is better, you don't have to listen to "____ sicks, the _____ is better".

 

Guild Wars 2 for me. Hands down the best community in my opinion. People are always helping each other, Guilds are easy to find and friendly. There is no hate talk or degrading because you failed to do something. Definitely better then some other big MMOs out there, and yeah I mean World of Warcraft among others.

 

I am guessing you are a younger person, as you are making WoW sound old. I have always believed that Ultima Online had/has the best community. One reason is that is the oldest running MMORPG in the world. It is over 17 years old! It only has about 150,000 players worldwide, but many of them have been there right from the start. The players themselves are probably the most devoted and best in the world as well.
