What mods do you like to use?

There are only two mods I use: Mini-map (Zan, but now Rei) and Optifine. I find that they are all I need. I prefer to keep it vanilla in terms of client side. In terms of server side, I like MCMMO. The idea of progression makes the overall game a bit more fun.

Rei's minimap can be extremely helpful. Sometimes I prefer not to use it on my single player maps though. It almost feels like cheating to some degree. It can be an enormous help online though. It's awesome to be able to mark where every city/town is located instead of having to alt-tab out of the game to search through a forum to find the coordinates of each place.

Well this one doesn't really need much explaining. I love optifine due to it's simplicity and design, Hey look a rhyme, double time. Being able to change the draw distance on demand really helps the fluctuation my computer suffers due to high stress loads while I render stuff.

Sometimes I try out different packs but usually the mod I always go to is Optifine. It just helps me run the game better and allows me to have a greater experience. All the option are very nice and I feel like I have more control of the game.

I don't think a minimap is cheating to be honest, it just tells you where you're going and shows you the mobs around you which you can easily do yourself. So It just makes minectaft life so much easier but doesn't give you a huge advantage

I used to use a whole list of mods. Personally I start out using Optifine and Forge. After that I install a minimap mod, single player commands, backpack mod, toomanyitems, and some others I find interesting. Toomanyitems really helps save my inventory so I keep it when I die. The minimap is very useful as it allows me to find out where my house is and where other areas I marked are, it's definitely very convenient.

I like lots of mods, but by far my favourite mod would be the ICBM mod.

I really liked this mod that made oak trees produce apples and you could set up how often they would drop them. The magic mods they have are pretty need to, as you can type different things and get a list of cool effects.

I actually don't use a lot of mods. I have two different profiles in my minecraft launcher, and one has optifine installed into it, and one has a minimap plugin installed into it. Sometimes I like to play with modpacks, but modpack server always seem to get griefed a lot because most modpacks have some kind of OP TNT installed.

I usually stick to classic because when the game updates, I have to wait for the mod to update too. It gets really boring to have to wait for the mod to release. So, I just stick with the classic game.
