What music do you listen while playing?

I know that feel, I've also got into that type of music lately, it's great for concentration and focus.
Exactly, music without lyrics, so it doesn't drive your attention away to the meaning of the lyrics.

It really is the perfect background music. Even the vocals don't disrupt my focus somehow. Usually any song with vocals will disrupt my attention, but chill and tropical house doesn't.

Because of the lyrics, human mind tend to try and read them, understand them, associate them, especially if they are in a well known language, then we'll associate one word with 10 multiple meanings at one time. That's probably the main reason why it disturbs us.

That makes a lot of sense. That is also why songs that I've listened to a million times don't really distract me during the game. New songs will definitely mess with my concentration.

I definitely get where you're coming from, I have also been struggling trying to focus while I would be listening to new lyrics songs.

However, when I listen to electronic music without lyrics, like trances for example, or classical music like Chopin, I don't have any problem focusing, as they tend to become a part of the "background" and my brain simply perceive them as natural sounds of my environment rather than "music".

That is a great way of describing it. It really just becomes the lull in the background. The is the ideal type of music for me to listen to while playing.

I usually just go for my own music, funny i also love tropical songs, i particularly like the tropical/house playlist i found in apple music, very upbeat and refreshing.

The in-game music is really enough for me. I find outside music from my playlist to be too distracting when I'm playing a game, and sometimes it makes me lose focus especially during clutch situations. Why not just listen to in-game music? It's epic, and you can really get into the mood.

I found music too distracting when I first started playing the game. I'm familiar enough with the game that I can pretty much listen to any music while playing. I've heard the in game music enough where it's just a background hum to me.

I tend to listen to a lot of trap when I play normal because it's a calmer music and lets me stay chill and try not to be toxic when I see mistakes being made. Keeps my head clear and helps me focus on the task at hand. On the other hand, I play ARAM a lot so I end up listening to a lot of fast paced rock and metal when I do that. That helps me stay fierce and rip apart enemy champions. Either way, I think most of us can agree that music makes the game way more enjoyable.

I get this way sometimes. Depending on my mood it will affect me differently. Sometimes I get lost in the lyrics and the song itself and in that way I'm able to relax in the game and just do everything with ease but sometimes it just ends up distracting me too much.

I find when I'm playing, I'm just lost in the game at times and I just subconsciously mute whatever music is coming through the headphones. Once there is a lull in the action or the match ends, then the music sort of pops back up. Most of the time it is just strictly background music and I'm barely paying attention to it.

Yup same for me. If I'm in that type of mood that I can just get lost in the game then the music in the background won't matter much. Sometimes I'm not that much in the zone so it just ends up being distracting and sometimes the song is so fitting that it works to my advantage as well.

I listen to what I have on my spotify playlist at the moment. This ranges from currently popular songs, to japanese music and all the way back to 40s jams. I love just chilling on the evenings playing LoL and listening to my tunes.

There are times that I do not want to play any music since I like hearing the in game sound effects, but most of the time I play either punk rock or metal. It just gives me that rush that I need while playing the game.

When I play League of Legends, I usually do not hear music. Sometimes I may go to Youtube. When there, I listen to full soundtrack playlists....
