I was always pretty poor at pickpocketing as well until I realized it had the percentage chance of stealing right there in front of me! Believe it or not, I didn't notice this my whole time playing the game until after countless hours of playing.
I like mixing it up, playing through with a few characters. Orc still is one of my favorites though. Just blowing through bad guys with all this great heavy weaponry. Or a Khajiit, where I pickpocket everyone. I try to build each race even further toward their initial strengths so they are just a super version of each race.
I have to say the Khajiit are hilarious . Somehow they just dont seem to fit the game to me, pretty silly in my opinion. I guess they lack the serious look for me
I recently started a new Skyrim game with my first argonian character. It has been pretty interesting so far, but I miss being a wood elf.
I enjoy playing as a Dark Elf. My current character is a Dark Elf spellsword/necromancer which is also a vampire. It fits perfectly for my type of play style. I also tried a pure mage Altmer and a pure warrior Orc but making combinations and experiences granted me more hours of play and more satisfaction.
Redguard for my melee fighter and Wood Elf for my archer. Thinking about making a Nord for my next character though.
I always pick imperial as I find I can relate more to that race and I always try to make myself in RPGs. They're certainly far from the best, but they have a tendency towards extra gold which is definitely nice at times.
I really liked plasying as Khajiit. I joined the thieves brotherhood and did some awesome quests including stealing and breaking into houses.
I play as a Redguard just because of their resistance to poison but other than that it's just that they look tough. I also play as a Khajit's since their very sneaky guys and for the most part I tend to do a lot of missions in stealth.
I'm Asian! Just kidding. I normally choose to play as a Nord but I tend to choose my race depending on my style of play. If I wanted to play as a thief or a stealthy assassin, I tend to choose the Kajit's or if I wanted an all out war character, I go for the Orcs.
I have 2 characters but both of them are Nord. When it comes to games like this I always pick Human Race because I prefer human as my character.
If I remember correctly, (it's been so long since I've played it...) I have various night elves, wood elves, and high elves. Whichever worked best for what I wanted to do. I live elves for most things and I remade some of my D&D characters in Skyrim... which meant elves were a normal for me.
I usually go Khajiit or Argonian. I like to play full blown stealth mode, so it's only natural that those two are my go to's.
In my first play through I opted to be a Nord so I could mold her after one of my favourite TV show characters; Lagertha from Vikings. If I did another play through I think I'd like to try one of the elf races.
I've been everything except for Bosmer and Kahjit. My favorite is Wood Elf. I don't know why but I always find myself choosing that. I think that they are, for the most part, very universal. Also, I think being in elf in real life would be awesome
I have multiple games with each race because I'm a weirdo that likes to thoroughly play through games. -_-
On my first character, I was Imperial. I liked the idea of extra gold being found and I liked how the race model looked. I didn't put any other thought into it. On my second character, I made a Nord. With her, I had a character idea in mind before I made her, and I've played her true to that idea. It's been fun. I've been interested in making a character completely opposite of her, but I haven't decided on a race yet.
I had a lot of characters, but the most enjoyable for me are Khajiit and Nord. I couldn't choose between them, I'm having a lot of fun with both.
I found the customization hard work, but rewarding. My character is a dark elf with a big scar over his eye. I think it's awesome how you can give your characters scars, because it added so much imagination. I would always think of a back story for my character's features. Has anybody else done some role playing with their characters?
