FF XIII and FF XIII-2 were amazing games for me, I could never get into the Final Fantasy series until I played XIII/XIII-2.
Hmm, I'm intrigued. Two votes for this game already. The story must be really good. I think I'm gonna check it out (here I come piratebay. Lol.) But, I'm a bit skeptical... There's little focus on combat? There are huge dialogues? Won't this game bore me?
Depends on your attention span, I haven't played it in a few years but the story is one of the best things written, it keeps pulling you in and keeps up the interest.
You will explore so many different and crazy locations, and meet so many well imagined people in the game, that it`s basically impossible to get bored. The game looks a bit old, and you have to read a lot, but it`s well worth it. I have to agree, nothing since Planescape: Torment ever came close to this classic.
Yes you need to like reading the story in games to enjoy it, if you are used to MMO's where you just click on the quest giver and the go to wherever the map points you at, then it might be hard to adjust
Radiant Historia developed by Atlus for NDS is my favourite in terms of story. I believe not many know about it, but trust me, it's worth every penny. The plot features alternate timeline that is connected together and your in-game decisions will decide the outcome. it's really great.
Hope you enjoy it! If it is not too much trouble post your opinion about the game after a few hours of playing it!
FFX's story to me is definitely the saddest while not being the best. The ending to the first one made me shed tears because it was so heart wrenching for me. I'm glad how the story ended with it's true ending in FFX-2 though.
