Incredible. Some of the screenshots look very good, the snow one looks almost photorealistic. I hope things like this makes other game developers to create good modding tools for modders. Most game developers seem to underestimate the importance of modding support.
As fantastic as this is, it's a shame that (at least for the next 10 years or so) barely anybody will have the hardware necessary to run this. I don't suppose there's a video anywhere of this in motion? It's one thing to see screenshots but to see it in action would be something else entirely.
This thing looks like it can kill a system just by looking at it. How does one run something like this?
That truly looks incredible, hopefully your computer can run it smoothly cause if it can then wow. I'd look to play a game that's photo realistic, I would just explore half the time and then snap out of it so I can concentrate on the objective. One day it will happen, but until then I have to deal with a sandbox game with sub-par graphics.
It's nothing that impressive from a technical aspect. It's just a couple filters and ambient occlusion with replaced textures and skyboxes. You could easily get something similar with 4, or 5 different mods at most.
It looks astonishing. But it remembers me that my computer can't even handle one of the bigger mods and now I became sad. Thanks.
Another problem with adding so many mods is it sometimes screws up quest and then you have to either use console commands or some other of work around.
This looks amazing! Unfortunately I'm pretty sure I couldn't get it to run 50% of these mods by themselves let alone get 100 installed and running at the same time...
Well, now I don't feel like playing Skyrim anymore on my i3. I'll just ask my parents to borrow me 10.000$ for a computer to play Skyrim with 100 mods.
lol 10k on a gaming PC if I had that kind of money to throw away I wouldn't use it towards a PC I would use that money to buy me a bari sax or another used good running car.
When running the most recent patch, it actually doesn't take super system to run these types of mods. You just need a decent GPU and plenty of memory and GPU memory. Using an SSD helps greatly as well. Skyrim runs on fairly old technology so modern systems handle it well. It's also an extremely well optimized game. I'm running a GTX 560 with 1 Gb of memory, 8 Gbs of system memory and a Phenom II quad core processor. This is my current Skyrim setup. I get 50-60 fps everywhere (capped at 60 so I probably would get more with vsync disabled.)
That is true I usually hardly ever get a FPS drop below 60 even with quite a few texture mods, but I don't want to go overboard, but when recording it's another story, but my setup isn't no where near the best I have an FX 6300, 8GB of RAM, and XFX HD 7950, I know getting an SSD would help, but I personally would rather buy another 1.5 TB HDD instead at least until prices drop a tad more.
I'm not sure I could run half of those with my wimpy GTX 550. Oh well, at least I can actually run the game, which I can't say the same for my other computers that I've owned until recently.
This looks amazing. I have never seen something look so real (other than some Crysis 3 or Metro: Last Light screens). The fact that the whole world could look so beautiful is truly captivating. I wouldn't even do the quests, but would probably walk around the world admiring the beautiful scenery..
Whoever has that computer has a really nice setup that's for sure I wonder what kind of monitors he/she is using I bet it's an arm in a leg.
That looks great actually, what kind of specifications is your PC running anyhow? seems really high end to running a modded up Skyri like that
I like to play games years after I have originally played them. I can't wait to play Skyrim over a few years when I have a PC that can run the game on maximum settings for everything. The landscape of Skyrim just deserves something like this. What I didn't see from the pictures is why this requires a 100 mods? Those are the normal landscapes, no?
Oh my god!! This is beautiful. This has inspired me to mod the hell out of skyrim tonight once I get out of work. I wish there were a list of all the mods though so I could be a little copy cat. I am just going to download a heap of graphics mods and see how that works out.
Haha, I hope these were not from his summer holiday. If they are, he sure as hell had a terrible vacation. If this was a winter holiday, great but probably not enough kilometers of slopes?
