What was the best time you had in Minecraft?

When it was new and getting lost and exploring then finding a cave or a spawn trap was the coolest thing ever.

 

Haha, that sounds fun. I should try to build something with a blindfold too.

 

Huh. Probably the time I spent with my main server, I think. It was a pretty small and active community and we liked to do community builds and whatnot. I remember one time we populated this huge island and just filled it to the brim in buildings. We made it a pirate town, so you couldn't live there unless you also built a boat in the water surrounding it. Then we decided to have a boat contest with them! I was super proud of my boat (I didn't catch it on fire or anything!), but one of the guys on the server totally outdid us with a beached boat ruin he made. The thing was fantastic. I didn't stay in it too terribly long though cuz I saw TNT poking out of some places and a few levers were hanging around. I didn't trust our server OP to not blow us up. I love him to death but I'll never forget the time he rigged someoene's home to explode (it was an oil rig, I think that was the reason he did it) and I happened to get caught in the blast while exploring. Nothing like enderpearling into an explosion.

 

I had a lot of great times with friends in Minecraft, mainly because I hosted my own server. We played custom maps, built bases, had base wars, played modded survival and creative mode, experimented with server tools, and so much more. It was like out own personal playground, and we could do anything we wanted. Parkour, survival, gamemodes, creative, anything. It was my favorite game for a long time, and I have so many great memories with it. One of my friends moved to Utah, so we don't see him anymore, but we can still play with him like old times. Minecraft is more than just a game, it's a social service and gaming platform.

 

Oh it was a lot of fun. I'm not sure how it would fair when you play the blindfold game alone but I suggest at least have another person by your side to laugh at your creation LOL

 

The best time i had on minecraft is probably playing on a totally vanilla server with my IRL friends I set up and doing dumb stuff but it was the most fun i had because we all set up computers next to each other and we had a BLAST just talking to each other and doing some griefing to piss each other off hahaha. now we all play different games but that was the bets moment in minecraft

 

Me and my 2 friends made a house. We built a piston trap underneath and we lured people in and opened the trap. People fell to their deaths and we took all their armor. But later someone griefed it all

 

My best time in Minecraft was building a big central minecart station hub type of thing. You could pick which station you wanted to go with the press of a button. You would then press another button, and a cart would appear! Sit in the cart and off you go! I was really proud of that creation, but my server members didn't use it too often.

 

Definitely playing on my own server with my brother and gf. We would spend hours working as a team to settle and colonize a full area, setting up an entire town or building a giant manor or castle with an outlying town and wall. Once I finish moving in to my new apartment I'm going to re-setup the server so that we can all still play together online.

 

I've had far too many great memories in Minecraft, so I can't single one out. Some of them do sound like the things that have happened to other people, though.

Invading enemies bases with my friends and then looting every valuable item, after we would rig up the whole place with TNT and watch it all blow up, real funny to see the enemies reactions in the chat afterwards

 

When I installed many mods on minecraft and it makes me so excited tahta I want to build things and explore the world.
