League of Legends was my first, but it definitely got me interested in playing more like it!

My first real MMO experience was with Lineage 2 *cringe* I never played it that seriously however.

My first real serious MMO experience was, like a lot of people, World of Warcraft. Man that game sunk its hooks into me! If I could go back and relive when that game was first released I'd love it so much. Some of the best gaming moments of my life and lots of friendships I made that are still intact today.

I absolutely loved League of Legends at first, but I got bored of it real quick.

WoW all the way for me. I think still many devs are playing catch up with them; that's the impact they've had on the entire gaming community.

Nothing n particular, but I am nit that much into RTS games and playing the same thing over and over. I like to move on.

Oh yeah, I get that, as opposed to doing basically the same match over and over and over again..

Yes, it's the same match over and over, but then again, I love shooting people in the face. That's me though. Different people, different choice. I am not against those who play RTS games.

My first MMO was Silkroad Online. I had a lot of fun with that one. I really enjoyed the three job system. You could specialize in one of three jobs when you reached a certain level. Trader, thief or hunter. The trader would buy goods from one area, then haul said goods over the vast desert to other towns and cities to sell it for more than the purchase price. The thief would attack traders on their routes so they could steal all the goods and sell them for a profit. The hunter could be hired by traders to act as bodyguards against thieves. It was a pretty cool system.
Last I heard, this game was overrun by bots and was unplayable. I haven't checked up on it in a long time though, so don't take my word for it.

Mine was the first Everquest. I was in college when I started to play it and got hooked as did my roomates. We played that game for at least two or three hours every single day. I wish I could go back in time and play that!

It seems as though a lot of people played Everquest as their first MMORPG. It was a really epic game after all. So, it's a no surprise for me.

My first every MMORPG was also Runescape, which of course was amazing back then. I played it for 6 years!! :D It was literally my childhood, all day every day all I did was gone on Runescape. I loved it so much, although of course it got totally wrecked by all the updates, and now it is just awful!! As soon as it started lagging badly, bots took over and they made it 3D I quit for good haha. It's such a shame they wrecked it because it brings back such good memories, so nostalgic!

The first MMO i played was Ultima Online, but I only spent 2-3 days playing it. A few years later I tried Ragnarok Online, and I loved the 2D anime style of the game's graphics. However, World of Warcraft was the first MMO that I spent a lot of time on, I played it for a total of 3 and a half years before it got so boring and repetitive.

Runescape was the thing back then in 2006-2008. I loved it when I was playing it back then, but it has changed so much in terms of gameplay mechanics and what it has to offer that I now say I have stopped playing it entirely simply due to the fact that Jagex has been unsupportive of non-members. It was quite fun to play with my classmates and friends, but I've always wondered why it never had a party system. Regardless, I am done with that game so to speak and will probably only go on once in a while for events.

I don't know if these were my firsts - but they were probably the 2 games I first REALLY got into playing. That was Diablo 2 and Asheron's Call back in the late 90's early 2000. I had played the original diablo in the mid/late 90's but it wasn't until D2/Asheron when I REALLY got into gaming. Man those were fun times ;)

My first MMO, like many, was Runescape at the ripe old age of 13. Not only was it my first MMO, but it was game that got me into all kinds of gaming in general. Thinking back, it probably was some of the most fun I've had gaming, even with all the limitations it has. Nothing quite like the old days of Pking with friends.

My first MMO was Ultima Online, although it was very harsh game with it's mostly open PvP combat. They nerfed mass PvP later but I already went to play Everquest, which was the first truly 3D MMORPG... so I couldn't stand an ugly isometry of UO anymore.

Where do you play right now in Grepolis? I am on EN65 but looking to join new speed 3 world (En68) as mine is so slow, nothing really happens...

Oh wow, memories coming back. My first MMO was Flyff (fly for fun) I spent a good 5 years off my life on that game, and even so I learned a lot of valuable lessons through it. My brother and I would play it a lot and I got my friend into it too. now no one plays anymore since the economy tanked, everyone had all the coolest items basically, and better games were out there.

My first MMO game is Lineage. I still remember the first time I played it and I totally have no clue what the game is as a friend only recommended it to me. I entered the town, thought all the characters there were NPC but the characters were talking and responding like a real human would. I was amazed as I thought that the NPC of the game are highly advanced AI that have different speech patterns. I just realized that those characters are being played by real humans when a character was calling my real name and found out it was my friend. I felt such an idiot that time, good thing my friend wasn't around or he would have had an epic lulz at my ignorance in MMO.
