What weapon do you prefer?

Ranged. Bow to be exact. I want to stay away from exploding enemies as much as possible and having a bow just makes me feel like a primal hunter and it is awesome.

 

I think of myself as a sniper. I love the bow, and having to arc the arrows to get at enemies that are really far away! It's satisfying, being able to reach out and poke that pesky zombie from far, far away.

 

I prefer the sword. I love getting skin deep with those creeps, they're really annoying specially those damned skeletons, I hate those guys. I also love using the bow when I'm on top of my fortress I see some lumbering creep around my yard.

 

I love using the bow, it's just much safer to keep the distance from the mobs, and it's also a lot of fun to try to hit them, you notice yourself start to get better at it too...

 

I love using the bow. Since I live up in high trees I keep a habit to have long range weaponry so that I can shoot those creeps without them ever inflicting damage on my fragile pizelated skin. I also love swinging my sword occasionally when a stray skeleton happens to break into my house.

 

I use the sword more than all the other weapons, I feel its just a better defense weapon, and either way I would use it anyways I'm a sword person.

 

I prefer more of an enchanted diamond sword. Those are the best for large amounts of mobs.

 

Ugh. Skeletons are annoying as hell. They seem to seldomly miss and they keep spawning in groups. I can't fend them off with my bow easily so I too prefer swords only if I was against skeletons.

 

The sword is my trusted partner during most Minecraft battles but the funniest weapon to use the bow. Get high and shoot em' in the head .

 

I know man! Those guys are the worst. When I first encountered a skeleton on my first time hitting Minecraft land, I don't know what to do, they're really relentless and whichever direction you try to run they seem to hit you with their bow on target all the time and they take like a million hits.

 

Enchanted diamond sword, all the way! I prefer to get in the middle of the action and hack and slash instead of standing at a distant and shooting with a bow.

 

My trusty iron sword. It doesn't require many resources but is strong enough for me to not have any trouble with monsters. Diamond is a bit too wasteful for me since I don't mine often and have a limited amount of diamonds around, and anything less than iron is too weak!

 

The weapon I prefer the most is stealth. Not being seen or known about while stalking the person and learning how they play is a great way to counter-fold them.

 

Really dumb how accurate they are. But it made my Minecraft life more fun and exciting. Only way to really counter them is find cover and wait till you are in melee range.

 

I prefer melee over archery. Don't know why... It's just really easy imo. Making arrows is a pain in the butt.

 

Yeah, I totally agree man, they're annoying yes but it gives you that sense of urgency whenever night falls and forces you to be more crafty when it comes to dealing with them. Makes the game more exciting in a way, even though they're really really annoying as hell.

 

In runescape it's easier though, you just select your target and fire, you don't have to aim or anything and eating is instant unlike in minectaft

 

Well yes, I realize that. It's just that between melee and ranged I'd much rather be ranged, so I chose to stay with it in Minecraft.

 

I really like my bow as well. With enchantments like the one that gives you infinite arrows and the one that lights your arrows on fire make a very nice weapon that can be used at long distances. This makes fighting skeletons with perfect aim so much easier, especially from a distance!
