What's your mindset when playing League?

It's always different with friends. It's more of a fun environment when playing with friends and it doesn't feel as bad to lose to someone you are close with. It gets a little crazy when you are playing ranked against a new opponent.

True. Sometimes I just let them be angry and I stay neutral instead of feeding the fire more which is what I find most fun because I think if someone is that much invested in winning a game that they aren't getting paid for then they must have issues and I think that's punishment for them enough.

I'm only looking at my gameplay. I don't interfere with anyone nor flame or blame them. I only use the chat for calls and whenever someone is looking for a fight with me directly. Otherwise, I don't have a reason to actually use it.

If someone is being a douche I simply mute them and move on with my life. I can understand getting upset, but even when I get angry I don't go around insulting people. We're supposedly playing games to relax and have fun, so I don't see any reason to ruin someone's day because they're not doing well.

Don't mean to be the sore thumb, but these days it's like

"man this is getting boring...same...dammit ok....I kinda don't wanna do this...." *closes LoL* "ah, much better"

It isn't that I don't like the game, it just burned me out so hard

My mentality is, "Whatever happens, happens. I'll do my best and if that's not enough, then it's fine. I'm aiming for the season rewards not the world championships."

Unless I'm playing with friends. *attempts to exit the cage before it goes down* "Oh- there goes our flashes." *does stupid things for laughs* "How on earth are we going to win/winning this game?" *curses a lot in voice chat as we laugh our asses off*

If I'm feeling burnt out I just play a different game for a while.

I clear my mind before every game and just focus on my lane. I play a farm/control game until I have the control, then I play aggressive for the rest of the game. This style of play has proven to be very efficient for me.

What do you do in case one of your team-mates loses his lane or does hit part of the game terribly bad? You sound like a player who likes to be let on his side and like to do things solo.

Just have fun with it. It's just a game, I don't get why so many people get intense over it. It's just a game, after the final bell rings, you get back to your regular life and the game you have been playing the past hour will just be that - the past. People raging over the internet, people feeding because they are losing; all of them are just wasting their time. If they didn't want to play, then don't. Just don't ruin the fun for everyone else.

I try to stay calm and relaxed. If I am tired at all, I don't play a game because I know it will be hard to concentrate and halfway through I'll wish I could leave because I want to take a nap. If you're mad or sad at all, definitely not a good time to play. Being angry makes me play much worse, and I'm not able to ignore trolling as much which takes a toll on my game. Same with being sad, I just can't handle criticism as much.

I use to be really toxic in League until I got chat restricted years ago. I now remain fairly calm in every game I play, I never surrender games and I always try to look for ways to win the game. Switching my mind set like this made me a much better player and I am able to climb way higher then I could before. I feel like League is mostly mind set and not actual skill level when it comes to climbing SoloQ.

I just focus on having fun and not take anything seriously. I get that people like to win so it takes a certain amount of seriousness as well but you can't control other players so yeah, playing like a Zen master will definitely help. In this case though I think I play more like a Samurai-- honorable, with finely honed techniques and aloof when needed. I got a lot of LoL playing years under my belt.

Easy question. To win. And I keep this mindset until the end of the game, even if the odds are against me. Also, it's good to keep calm at all times.

I just play and enjoy it. If I either lose the game or win it, at least I enjoyed it. There are toxic players and we can not do anything about that so if I ever come across these kinds of monkeys, I just let them be. If they are rude, I leave them alone on the lane and just find another spot to farm. I just make sure I would enjoy every moment playing, that way I would not feel I failed to win a game even if I did.
