When did you start playing Minecraft?

I started playing a while ago. I truly mean a while ago. I got it around a week or two after 'Seananners' done his videos on it. I took a while to get into it but got it a while ago.

 

I'm quite a new player to be honest ! Been playing about 6 months. I must admit it didn't look too appealing at first! (the graphics mainly) but wow! When you start, you realize that the graphics are what make this game so amazing! And i wouldn't have it any other way.

 

I was trying to figure this out myself by looking at the change logs for various releases on the Minecraft wiki. I think that I bought it not long after the Alpha 1.2.0 Halloween update. So, it's been quite awhile! It says a lot about Minecraft that I am still playing it.

 

I just started playing a few weeks ago, so I'm still pretty new to it. I'm really enjoying it though.

 

My best friend had been nudging me into playing forever, but I didn't start until he gave in and shoved a copy at me in early 2012. I've loved it ever since. I can't remember what version we were on, just how addicted I got to punching virtual trees. So many hours of punching trees!

 

I looked into it and bought it on August the 25th 2010. That's longer than I thought.

 

I started in early 2012. I cut my teeth on the free version at minecraft.net . Eventually I got a hold of my own account mid-2012 . Since then iv'e been having a great time killing and crafting.

 

When Minecraft first came out for XBOX 360, thats when i bought it and started playing. I got so addicted i called out of work just to keep playing.

 

I started when it arrived on Xbox 360, I was at my friends and he introduced me to Minecraft, I had a preconception that it wasn't very good, however when I first played it was amazing and i spent literally all night on it.

 

I started way back in the Beta. I can't remember what year it was. I just remember my friend telling me about it and that I should pre-order it while it was very cheap, and I did. The game has changed so much over the years, and gone so far. It was great back then and it is great now. I don't play it as often as I used to, though.

 

About 1 year ago I started. The first time I saw Minecraft, my brother wanted to play it on the xbox 360 and would not get off of it. I tried it and I liked it. I looked up some stuff and found out it was for PC and that it looked way better than Xbox version of it. So I got the PC version of it and had fun. As of the last 8 months however I haven't had a good computer to play it, I need to upgrade it.

 

About three years ago, patch 1.2_02 or maybe a little bit earlier. Since then I've had my breaks from the game, but it's still one of the best games out there. What the community does for Minecraft is just amazing. Servers, mods, texture packs, building. It's all so magnificent.

 

I bought it when the game was in Alpha, I think I only paid about $5 at the time, then I forgot about it for a few years, until I started watching Yogscast doing Minecraft videos I think and I though "wow, there's a lot of new stuff, I should check it out again"

 

I got into minecraft about two years ago I think. It was when the hunger games first came out, and I was looking it up on youtube and found the hunger games minecraft games, and I just got addicted after that! I'm forever playing it now

 

I've started playing Minecraft when I was 14 and it was among my most enjoyable experiences which I'll never forget. I've even made a school project about it once.

 

I started playing Minecraft in Beta 1.2. I remember when the first server didn't have spawn, so instead you spawn in a forest or in a beach, and survive your own.
I remember also when I built my first house, it was big, but it was made of dirt. I also didn't know what were the creepers, so I tried to attack them with fists, but they exploded on me, and then I died. So I decided to never attack them again.

 

It seems that most people have started playing it quite early!

 

I actually started playing it on the Xbox 360. Before then, I had never really heard of it. But it made me want to get it on the PC and play, so here I am!

 

I started late in 2012. I was introduced by my friend. The reason why I started late was because I watched some videos of the game and had no interest in it. Had my friend not told me about the game, I would have moved the game aside and moved on to something else.

 

I only started playing during the "official" release of the game, before that I had tried it out at a friends house but it never caught my attention. Then one day I actually tried to play the game and saw how big the world was as well as the different objects and items you could build. It soon became a game that I would play on a day to day basis and I have loved it every since.
