    I started playing Minecraft this year around January. I played it because of SeaNanners.

    I started just when it was beta. I loved it then, the experience was fresh and I was fascinated by all the things that I didn't know. I remember minecart boosters which you had to make yourself! It was awesome back then but not very newbie friendly.

    Late alpha versions as well, and also around 2011 with my friends who suggested it to me. At first I was skeptical about the nature of this game but I was intrigued and saw the potential to it with the faux old school graphics aspect powered by java so I started playing and it was the best thing ever :)

    I started playing Minecraft back when I was still in college. A friend of mine gave me a copy of the Alpha version and I started from there. That was from last year I got the alpha, little did I know that there were updates and I had the oldest one.

    I started playing Minecraft in 2011, if I'm not mistaken. I won the game during a charity livestream! I can't tell you how excited the teenage me was! I was thrilled! I could finally play on the server of my friend! I don't play it much these days, I simply got bored of it.

    I started laying ti back in 2011 when it was still in early stages. The game has certainly come so far from those old days. I am glad that console gamers are also getting a chance to get a taste of this game.

    I am a late bloomer. I started playing a couple of month ago, so I am fresh at it. I didn't go with the hype in the beginning but when I was introduced to it by a friend I started to dig it.

    I started when Pocket Edition came out. I've always known about Minecraft before but didn't find it interesting enough to try. When Pocket Edition came out, a few of my friends played with each other on the go. Seeing this, I got it as well, to play with them. This also sparked my interest into PC Minecraft and I started playing that early this year.

    I think I started in december 2011. A friend of mine showed me this game and I found it very interesting.
    We played togheter and I fell in love with it. You have so many things to do you never get bored!
    Thank God Minecraft wasn't that resource-heavy at that time because I had a crappy PC.
    I am still playing this game today and I never lost interest in it! It's very addicting.
