I started playing on the day World of Warcraft was released in Europe, which I'm pretty was in February 2005. I actually played the beta version of the game for a little while too before it was officially released come to think of it, which was pretty cool. Me and my friends played a lot of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, and playing World of Warcraft just seemed like the logical thing to do haha. I've stopped and started playing several times since then, usually coming back when a new expansion is released to see the new content. My first character was an Undead Mage, and it's been my favourite class ever since.

I created my first trial account (10 days) in 2009, during Wrath of the Lich King. I thought the game was okay, but it didn't really pull me in. Several months later, I felt like doing another trial. I enjoyed it more this time, but not enough to buy it. Several trial accounts later, all spread apart several months, I decided to buy the game in spring 2011. I mostly created humans, so I had probably done the Elwynn forest zone 20 times by then. I completed it once more, thinking it would be the last time ever.

Little did I know that I would become a severe "altaholic". Every class I played, I was never fully satisfied, so I rerolled as a different class and started over. At one point, because I wanted to completely start fresh, I created a new Blizzard account. In April of 2012, however, Blizzard released the Scroll of Ressurection. I used a scroll on my old account, which boosted me to level 80. Finally, I was able to experience the Cataclysm and end game content, as I decided to stick with that character as my main.

I first started playing the game when I was still in the Marine Corps back in 2006. I was living in the barracks and my roommate was playing the game, so I watched him play and picked his brain a bit about what it was and how the gameplay was. He let me try it out and... eight years later I still play it. Obviously it's changed quite considerably since then with all of the expansions, but I do still claim it's my favorite game of all time.

I started playing WoW before BC came out, I think it was in 2005. Since then, I've played for 6 years or so, maybe even longer. When Wrath of the Lich King came out, I played it for some time, but I didn't actually liked it as much as BC. I think it's the main reason I've quit.

I started maybe two years ago. However, I have had some pauses in the gaming because of of work in real life. Then I haven't had enough time to play world of warcraft. However, I have recently been playing it more than before.

A friend of mine on Facebook posted a link for the $5 deal for the main and like $10 for Cata so I joined up last February. I held off buying MoP until I'd put some time into the rest of it, got a feel for the characters and worked myself out of being a total newbie. I waited until MoP was on sale and got that but just recently quit playing altogether as I was starting a new job, short on cash and just outright bored with Pandaland. I'm not sure if I'll go back after WoD or not.

I started playing at 2015. I was a total newb and farmed copper ores for hours instead of leveling up. I miss those days.

Started playing it in October of last year. My ex boyfriend was really into it and had been for a long time, so he kept trying to get me to play, so I figured I'd give it a go and it seemed like a lot of fun at first then it just kind of died out for me.

I tried to start playing it several years ago but the game held little to no interest to me back then. I suppose you could say technically I started back then, however, game-playing wise I like to think I just started a few days ago.

I started playing wow in September of 2014 which is like 2 months ago. Technically I have had it since like 2012 but never played because of game time. Now that I have had a chance to play and pay for it I am having hella fun!! Been on that grind to get all the items and been working with my guild mates to level even more in the dungeons. Hope it doesnt get boring really quick like many other MMOs I have played.

I started playing in middle school, when it was all the rage. Many of my friends were playing, and I guess the hype was just all over. I got into it for a while, and was addicted to it for a few months, but then I lost interest since my parents disapproved of me spending so much time on the computer. However, my other friends pretty much went through the same process, so none of us really play anymore.

I probably started playing WoW about a year after it came out or so, and I haven't looked back since then. It's been a great ride.

I started playing mid-way through Burning Crusade, but once I got to max level it was maybe a couple of months away from Lich King, I think the only raiding I did in BC was Karazhan, if that gives you a time frame.

I started almost exactly 2 months before Burning Crusade came out. I have always been a slow player so I didn't hit level 60 until well into the next year, and then 70 a few months after that. I loved quests and leveling, and I also enjoyed battlegrounds and occasional dungeons, but I never got into the raids because they took so long and I couldn't freely explore as much as I'd have liked because we were always rushing off to get the next boss. I think the only raid I ever really enjoyed was Karazhan because it was a pretty quick run compared to other raids.

Would you believe it if I told you that my son introduced me to World of Warcraft? Yes, he really did.

Before that I was already a keen fan of the Warcraft series of games. I was actually into all kinds of strategy games. Then World of Warcraft was launched. I knew about it but I wasn't ready to pay for it. My son, who was already working, started playing. We lived many hundreds of kilometres apart. He messaged me on Facebook now and then to encourage me to join him in WoW. I demurred. Then he sent me an invite. Aha, a freebie. So I got started.

That was something like 5 years or so ago. After a while, I stopped playing for a couple of years. Not that I didn't like the game. In fact, I loved it but I had a life to live as well. Then I got back into the game, on the same server as my son, Proudmoore.

Now I am taking a rest again. This time the main reason is that I have only got an old Celeron, so playing seriously is out of the question for the time being.

I am looking forward to getting back into the game soon.

I started back in burning crusade as a human warrior who had no idea what to do or couldn't understand quests so I just decided to kill monsters to level up to 20 before I decided the game was too hard for me to play.
I picked the game back up at the start of Wrath of the Lich king and was hooked ever since. The story, music, raids, pvp and everything pulled me in and by the time i realized it i was treating the game like a drug haha.

Originally started back in 04/05 for a bit and then quit because I was a solo player and got bored. My brother was the one into MMOs and I was more busy with getting into college at the time. I initially joined to see what he was up to. Joined again back in BC because a college classmate of mine was really into it and then quit again. Came back at the end of Wrath, stayed for Cata, and then quit in MoP.

I played it when it first came out, because I am a blizzard fan and have played all the Diablos since its inception. But I didnt get into WoW until Frozen Throne, but then I played very little of WoW and more of the custom map DotA. now I have moved slightly away from WOW and play a lot more DotA 2
