When Villagers are Annoying...

Villagers are the worst thing in Vanilla Minecraft. I personally prefer Millenaire mod. These villagers have everything jobs, quests, trades multiple items by occupation. Makes it feel much more like an RPG.

 

Thats not the only annoying part! I hate it when zombies beat on the doors to get the villagers! Its the most annoying sound!

 

yes LOL good solution. I also feel a bit sadistic with my jail, but you get used to it over time. Probably not a good sign but oh well. Maybe I'll give them a bigger cell in the future with a fire place or something??

Otherwise yeah it does get annoying. I herded them into a jail as soon as I could lol

 

Most of the times I don't find any villagers anyway. If I do I usually note the things they buy and sell, then come back if I ever need something, but I wouldn't stay at a town.

 

Yeah, currently they are sectioned off in their own part of down I like to refer to a Derpy Town. For the most part, they annoy the crap out of me, but a few have things I need to trade for, like on sells emeralds for wheat, and then I buy a new diamond sword from the blacksmith for the emeralds I just earned. Much easier than finding the diamonds to make the sword. I did lock up the backsmith though, keeps him safe and alive, but now I am thinking I might just lock them all up in a house of their own, keep them from moving, but keep them all alive.

 

Villagers are so darn useless right now! I get that you can trade with them, but their prices are ridiculous lol.i never trade with them. Any trade with them is a loss. I like the millionaire mod a lot though.

 

Once you gathered enough resources for yourself and have plenty of extras you'll find that villagers prices are quite resonable. Yes early on they are stupid but later they don't seem too bad

 

I never really do anything with them but I agree they can be annoying sometimes. Maybe I SHOULD do something about them. I've been to some villages where there were so many villagers that will push you around and it's a struggle just to get to where you want to go. I've even opened a door only to get flooded with them and their big noses!

 

Find something new to do.

 

Honestly, I just kill them or try to move them our of the village where they won't interfere with my builds. It's pretty easy to move them underground, so that's where I usually put them. That way, I can still trade with them and keep them out of the way.

 

When villagers are annoying, I usually just burn their houses down or kill everybody there. Most of the time, I just raid their houses and their crops. But, I remember one time I was on creative mode. I basically filled this whole village full of TnT and blew it up.

 

I put them in my secret prison, so I can trade with them forever. On the other hand I try to build an underground village for them to stay in.

 

I don't really use the villagers for anything. If I find a village, all I really do with it is get the potatoes and carrots that is has and take them home with me. I use the potatoes and carrots later on to farm them and use as my main food source. Only rarely I use the villagers to trade.

 

I usually don't use villagers either. I like to run through and take all the crops, however. Generally, I'll just kill whichever ones get in the way, unless I'm playing with friends who don't like it when I do that. In that case, I like to just trap them away. Out of sight, out of mind, right?

 

Well I sometimes just put a huge lavafall in the middle of the town. Or I just switch to creative mode and then trigger the night time and use the zombie spawner to spawn 1000 or so Zombies. By the time the sun comes up, the only thing that you hear is the zombies burning up as the village is silent of any odd Villager. Wow I just realized that some of us as freaking mean to these poor little villagers Ha!

 

I always kill or torture them. I can't stay quiet while they keep staring, looking at me. One day I decided to kill them all and, since then, when I find a new village I prepare a big trap to enjoy seeing how they suffer by my wrath. Normally my ways are so wicked, but the last three times I was really evil. But I still think that they deserve it so I still don't have pangs of conscience and I will probably never have them. And no, I'm not really crazy, I'm just tired of them.

 

Villagers are never annoying! They're the best mobs in the game! They're so useful for their slavery and hard work! But if there's too many of them, they really have to go. I think the most fun way to get rid of them is to dig a pit around a crowd and just pour lava on top. It's pretty funny to see them on fire. If you haven't done it before, give it a shot.

 

I get so annoyed when I am attempting to record an episode of my Minecraft series, and the villagers screw up the audio with villager sounds.

 

When I'm playing minecraft I usually like to take the most advantageous approach, so I just lead most of them them into 1x1 cells and block the entrance with a fence so they cant escape but I can still interact with them, then lead a few villages into a larger cage for breeding so as to produce more villagers in the pursuit of better trades. I also adopt a "selective killing" method, where I kill off the villages with horrendous trades in favour of one with a better trade available.

 

I can't stand them most of the time. If they get really annoying I make their entire village a giant crater via some TNT.
