Wii U price drop confirmed

I wouldn't really pay for a Wii U, unless you want to play the hell out of Mario Kart 8 or Splatoon. The game variety is very little.

 

They're going to accept their failure and just make a new console. I can't really say I saw that coming, but it makes sense. For a long time I've been thinking that they should have a real gamer console. If they want to keep making consoles for kids, it's ok, but they should also sell something for true gamers. It wouldn't be the end of the world if they had 2 consoles in stores

 

To be honest I'm pretty offended that you are saying it is just for kids. Family friendly doesn't=just for kids. Have you even used it or do you even know what games are available? Come on... Define kid. I'm 40. I'm guessing you are about half my age which would make you a kid in my eyes.

 

I pretty much agree with @Nytegeek that I wouldn't go so far as to define that Nintendo is for kids, but it's a solid and fun console for everyone. Not to say that you can't find good family friendly games on other platforms but Nintendo just manages to bridge the gap in-between all ages and still make it really fun for all. That's no easy feat and I commend them for that. I'll always hold The Legend of Zelda franchise in the highest regard as it was the one game that started it all for me in terms of gaming.
