Will Fallout 4 be 2015's best RPG?

    I've always rode on the hype train. But I think agreeing with most people here, we will see when we play the game.

    I think Fallout has huge competition this year and it will be a really hard thing to do, to top games like The Witcher 3 or Pillars of Eternity, but I`m optimistic, and if Fallout 4 is only as good and not better then the aforementioned games, it will be totally fine by me.

    I personally don't care for Witcher so it may well be the best RPG for me this year. Pillar of Eternity I tried, but it was too much reading for my tastes about visions or something.

    Bethesda has always churned out great games and I can definitely see Fallout 4 becoming the best RPG of 2015 despite having to vye for it with Wither III, with that said however, I haven't started yet so I'll just go hide in a cave for the next few days playing it... or not, depending on how it goes.

    Witcher might not be for anybodies tastes, but Pillars really brought back memories from classic RPG games from the 90`s for me. Those were like that as well. Not really good graphics, but tons and tons of story and reading material, that actually fleshed out the gameworld. I know, it is old school, but I really like those kinds of games. I think Fallout 4 might come close to these games.

    Witcher 3 also came out this year like somebody already mentioned, and while there was significant hype surrounding it, I think Fallout 4 will definitely have much more of an impact to the gaming community in general and I think there's no way anyone else could threaten Fallout 4's status as the best RPG of 2015.
