What community? haha I guess that's my point it has none.

DC Universe is pretty good but it just becomes a slog around the 20 hour mark. I really liked it but there is like.. nothing to do and nobody will work together...

I agree. SWTOR has a pretty bad, if any, community. That's what turned me away from it. I much prefer LOTRO's sense of community.

Probably Neopets. Now that I think about it, I don't even know if that counts as a game. I haven't fed my neopets in like 10 years. Whoops

    SWOTR.

I was incredibly hyped about the game and only played it a few times before getting extremely bored and quitting. I thought I might had quit far too early and not experienced any of the high-level content stuff, but the response to the game was so horrible, I knew I made the right call.

The small community that SWToR has is bad on it's own. Maybe the fact that it is small is part of the problem. They're very elitist and impatient with new and inexperienced players.
DCU gets old reallly quickly. I love the idea of creating and playing a super hero/villain, but I just felt that the battle system is clunky and lazily implemented, (and not nearly as 'cool' as it should be, I'm a super hero for crissakes) and the overall gameplay and dungeons were unimaginative for the most part. I actually prefer Champions Online to the DCU (but that game's not amazing either).

Age of Conan for me, that game had nothing that could hold my interest.

I agree with yah on the SWTOR stuff and don't even get me started on how much the sub players hate f2p's.
DCU could have been so much better and it feels so.. cheeped out. The cities seem large but then you realize that half the city is blocked off and inaccessible and that really made me sad. I love Gotham but I'm disappointed in what they did..

I must be the only guy here who actually likes SWTOR. It is starting to drag a little, but I had so much fun of Coruscant. I love urban environments and it was cool seeing a steel city with space cars zipping around and shops everywhere. Also love the voice acting and story. First MMO I've played where I'm actually involved with my character.

Maplestory just gets worse and worse with every new patch. All they do is release new content that can only be bought with real money so those who don't spend are at a severe disadvantage because of the ridiculous amount of time it takes to earn in game money as well.

I might be showing my age here, but Horizons: Empires of Istaria. There was so much hype surrounding that game, and dear lord was it awful. Several of the things they promised while they were in development just never happened. I heard that they were down to just one server a while ago.

Shadowbane was another terrible MMO, but to be fair, I don't think I ever made it past level 15 or so. I just wasn't fun enough.

That's exactly what happened to me, after a lot of advertising and me being a fan of Star Wars I went right ahead and played the game. What a disappointment.

You're not the only one at all, I love the game as well.
In fact it's hard to get interested in the story of other MMO's because they just don't stand up to what I'm used to with SWTOR.

I would have to say Runescape. Both the worst and the best at the same time.

    This.

Also, Pandora Saga: Weapons of Balance is by far the most generic, clumsy and featureless MMORPG I have ever set foot in. I have no idea why people play it or how it's managed to make any amount of profit because of how bad it is.

Yeah, SWTOR is the only game I've played so far where I've actually bothered to pay attention to the story. I'm on chapter 3 of the Jedi Knight one right now. It got really boring in chapter 2 since it was all politics but it's starting to get interesting again.

Runescape... I mean I still don't understand how people found this fun to play lol. A browser based game that looked like it was made in Microsoft Paint.

The best part is that once you finish up with that story you can just start a new class and have a completely different experience.

No, it isn't a great looking MMO but the gameplay is surprisingly in-depth for a game. For the most part it attracts pre-teens who don't have computers good enough for higher-end games. The death penalty gives everything a high-stakes feeling and the guild combat/battles are very intense. If they took the gameplay and made a full fledged game with high-def graphics, it would be incredibly popular.
