Would you play a Call of Duty MMO?

I would say yes, it could be regarded as an MMOFPS as a result of for instance the first Black ops game had a somewhat detailed storyline whilst multiplayer seemed to sit at the sidelines, but then there was a complete reversal the moment Black Ops 2 came out, the story arc was short and quick and the mainstay of the game was based around playing online against and with other players.

God no. It would end up like the FPSMMO warrock. It would be filled with hackers left and right and be absolutely aweful.

To be honest I don't like Call of Duty as much as I used to now if it were Battlefield that may be a better choice in my opinion!

I don't think that will work. Call of Duty relies on fast paced action, switching it to MMO slows down the game and that kills what makes COD fun for people. I think most CoD demographic are gamers that want quick games, I don't think they'll have the patience for MMO styles.

Sorry I wouldn't. What's awesome in CoD is that enemies die more realistically, with a couple of shots. That unfortunately wouldn't really work in an MMO where most players die slower. Also what would you really upgrade when you level up? And when you don't want to change the HP of everyone you can't really have upgrades because there won't be anything to upgrade. You can't upgrade armor, hp or damage because that would just ruin the game, you'd have a max level soldier kill a low level one with one bullet, while the other can't even scratch him.
Only thing I can think of being upgradeable are killstreak bonuses, like having to fly in a helicopter and stuff.
Regardless, what would you even have as a world? A whole battlefield where you take quests to fly airplanes or retrieve fallen soldiers' insignias?
Making a good FPS MMO set in modern times is near impossible imo.
