    As for getting off-topic, I don't really care. I think that some forums tend to stifle activity through overly aggressive organization of content, but we've not really anywhere near that point yet. If someone feels like organizing the posts into a new thread, I don't see why not.

    It's set in Russia but the train cars are from Kiev (Train cars type E were removed from Moscow Metro in 2008 and WW3 started in 2013. These train cars remain in Saint-Petersburg and Kiev.), Hole station is styled after Krechatik station in Kiev Subway and pretty much everything was modelled using references in Ukraine.

    It's similar enough, but distinctions are often noticeable.

    The Berkut are storming the Euromaidan in Kiev (capital of Ukraine) today and at least 12 people have been according to some news sources. They aren't the first to perish during the unrest in Ukraine, but the number is pretty damn high for just one day and one city. It will only get worse before it gets better, I guess... if it ever gets better. :eek:hwell: Also in Ukraine: activists in Odessa will block the departure of troops from the barracks (who are scheduled to arrive as reinforcements in Kiev), whilst demonstrators in Ternopil stormed the headquarters of the local authorities.

    I still think this topic deserves its own thread and the posts regarding it from the past few pages of this thread should be moved. :p

    Since the 18th of February, clashes in Ukraine have been ongoing. Some sources say that as many as 100 people have died in the last 3 days, with over 1000 injured. Things certainly aren't looking good over there. I've also heard that the authorities in some parts of Eastern Ukraine are burning documents, which suggests that they're expecting an overturn. I'm really interested in seeing how all of this ends, but I hope that as few people die as possible because enough blood has already been shed on the streets of a fellow Slavic country. :(

    Actually they almost reached a peaceful conclusion in the rada. Almost.

    Radicals didn't like that and stormed the government building.

    BOTTOM LINE:

    Don't trust anything coming from the media. Double check every fact. EVERYONE in Kiev has a political agenda. Both the government and the radicals are ready to spill blood (And already have).
