We saw him, both in great perfomance and in not so great ones. He is a quite a strange pick tho, he requires a whole team around him in order to get him rolling. Knock-up cc, and babysitting in lane, since he cannot lane easily against most of the picks in the pro scene now. In solo-queue people are afraid of him, or they dont know how to stop him. When I made a bronze V account for the lulz and I saw master yi being banned I was amazed. Its kinda the same thing. You can shut down a yasuo and you can shut down him hard. Plus side few people have "mastered" him, so It would be my first priority in my kill list as a jungler.

Well things have changed now. I'm watching a tournament at the moment and one of the teams picked up Yasuo and not just any team but Cloud9(C9)
Here is the stream for those of you that want to see what this champ is capable to do in the right hands http://en.twitch.tv/riotgames

He is really strong if the player knows how and when to use the windshield. And the burst damage from statikk shiv is huge but that is kind of all that is to it because his E can be countered very easily with a stun and his ultimate can be avoided pretty easily aswell.

So this was posted December last year. He was very overpowered when he was first released and that didn't really change for the next few months. I feel like he is not as broken anymore, but is still a top-notch champion.

On top of that, it's like whatever button he pressed looks like the greatest play ever :p So flashy champion.

I agree with the post title. Yasuo is quite strong at the moment. At maximum cool down through attack speed, his "Q" ability is at 1.44 seconds I believe. This is quite ridiculous if you think about it, especially when he has n Infinity Edge. His damage output is a bit too high. The problem with him is that his early and late game is too strong. If there's another champion with a knock up ability on Yasuo's team, then the enemy team pretty much loses. There's no way to stop his airborne ability but to wait it out. By then, you're already dead.

Yasuo, I probably main him, I'll tell you, he's crap early.
Go in there early, you're dead and you'll feed the whole game after 2 deaths.
He's countered by the most broken champion of all time (Jax). However, he's really fun to play if you're skillful and you know when to attack etc. It's fun to "Wombo Combo" with a braum/any knock-ups since it activates his ult.

Yasuo is not op. If you want to demolish him in lane, just play Annie as you will always remove his shield due to your AA range. You can just keep poking him down into nothing. In team fights you just need to kill him before anyone get's knocked up!

As of the latest patch, he's been truly nerfed. Many people might argue, but the scaling is not as good as it used to be back when it was released. But I'm not whining at all, to be honest. In fact, I'm quite happy he's got nerfed simply because he would wreck anything if fed enough.
