    Awesome. I'd love to be able to change my name once I eventually get sick of it and I know that I always do. I think that all games like this should allow you to change your name whenever you want.

    It is partly good, party bad. Servers will have a need for protecting against users changing names on the fly, because cheaters usually abuse features like this to cosntantly change their name to be harder to notice.

    This is a great idea not only for vanity purposes but for security purposes as well. I always wondered how those people on Twitch avoid getting hacked since their username is known by everyone who's watching.

    Nice to hear this is finally being implemented even if it doesn't effect me. Always kind of felt bad for people who really wanted to, but couldn't change their names lol.

    I had stuck with my boring name. I wanted to change it so badly. Now I'll be able to do that. Yay!!

    Keep in mind, unless there will be an user ID system implemented, this new feature could be a hotspot for griefers and trollers.

    I really hope so, my name is "Willybillis" on Minecraft and I only picked it as it was the most stupid name I could think of that would make my friends think it was fruity. I have been wanting to change it though to something more serious. Willybillis just sounds horrible.

    Finally! When I first made m account, I don't know what I was thinking about my name. I always wanted to change my name, but I didn't want to purchase another account. I can finally change my name without too much of a hassle! Thanks for the information!

    That's great. I know a lot of people who just made their names on a whim ages ago and have some regrets. I'm personally fine with the one I have but I'm happy for people that have been wanting this.

    I'm really looking forward to changing my name. There's some names that inactive players own that I really want! My name right now isn't too bad, but I'd rather have something else, just for the looks. Hopefully this system will be under control so that it doesn't go crazy with all the name changing!

    So here we are, 6 months later, still twiddling our thumbs. Mojang is officially the slowest company in the world by my rankings. When was our last major update? About a year ago now I think..

    I'm in no rush for this particular update or feature because I chose my username, expecting it to stick for the foreseeable future. If you chose something stupid or something that you wouldn't want later on, then why did you choose it in the first place?
