Your Metro Cosplay

Great posts guys, keep em coming! i have enough military surplus clothing to outfit a small army... maybe i should go play dress up!

 

I'm considering doing this, but I'm not too sure. I would like to take pictures near this large local oil refinery, it will give it more of a “The Road Warrior” feel to it than metro or Stalker, but I would probably get shot at if I get to close :laugh:. I’ll just take pictures somewhere else.

Your first picture of a "Lone Stalker” made me laugh rolfwar. Your serious pose is just hilarious :lol:. Bamul, you nailed it as a scavenger. Skaara, cool gear, but to bad you have to give it up :tsk:. brynje, yours reminds me a little of someone from the monolith faction in Stalker. Anyway, like KLMKsunbunny said, keep em coming!

Haha that's true.. Lookin at my picture now and I look fuckin HUGE when im wearing that hazmat and the camo for some reason. Im actually pretty slim irl... it looks so weird XD

That suit looks awesome, and I like the Kalash too, the tape and such, gives it a nice worn look. How much did you pay for this?

I'd like to post mine here, but keep in mind that this is the earliest for of my cosplay. I've not even started.

 

Man, seeing my old kit is painful, haha. At this point, I'm waiting on a PMK and then it'll be done.

Nah, not so much me, I need some bulletproof vests...and a gun. That khaki is warm, yes, but it's really heavy. My shoulders ache whenever I wear that thing for more than an hour.

 

Amazing, I also love the fact that you added duct tape to the stock. It really does give it that proper Metro-look. A very nice touch. Only thing I can point at is that the tape looks too white and clean, you should use some grey duct-tape

I love that oufit, actually. It makes you look (In my opinion) like a vulnerable citizen of Moscow, or of the Metro. A big jacket that shields and warms you, not some tactical soldier-uniform. And the shoes, are those meant to be with the costume? Sorry if they're not, but on the picture they do look like something a poor/standard civilian of the metro would wear. And the Ushanka and gas mask gives it that inevitable final detail that makes it so legitimately Metro.

 

I think M1Shooter might have used masking tape.
